Sensor Compatibility Check

Will my alarm sensor work with MyAlerts.Pro?

If you already have door, window, or motion sensors from a home alarm system, some of them can be reused with MyAlerts.Pro — no need to buy new ones. This takes about two minutes and you don't need any technical experience.

1

Pick up one sensor

Any door, window, or motion sensor from your existing alarm system. Small white or beige plastic pieces mounted near doors and windows are usually these.

2

Gently open the cover

Most snap open with a light pry from a fingernail or flat-head screwdriver at the seam. You're looking for a small sticker inside — you don't need to remove the battery.

3

Find the model number

It's a short code printed on the sticker, usually a few letters followed by numbers — for example TX-E201 or QS1132.

It's OK to guess at spacing or dashes — we'll match it either way.

Good news — this one should work

This sensor sends a plain, unencrypted signal, which our system can read directly. We'll cover pairing it in the setup guide.

This one won't connect, sorry

This is a Qolsys S-Line sensor. It scrambles its signal for extra security, and only the original alarm panel holds the key to unscramble it — so it can't be reused here. It'll keep working fine on your existing alarm system.

We don't recognize that one yet

No problem — send us a clear photo of the sticker and we'll check it for you personally.

Compatible examples: TX-E201, TX-E221, ELK-319DWM, 60-362, NX-450 · Not compatible: QS1132, QS1130, QS5535
