Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026
Voicelert and MyAlerts.Pro are for messages to people who know you and have agreed to hear from you: family, friends, members, volunteers and employees. They are not for advertising or calling strangers.
You must
Have each person's agreement before adding them as a contact.
Make clear who the message is from. Every call names your account and Voicelert at the start.
Respect "stop" requests. Do not re-add someone who opted out unless they ask you to.
Avoid calling between 9 pm and 8 am in the other person's time zone, unless the message is truly urgent.
Follow the laws where you and the people you call live, including Canada's telemarketing rules and the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
You must not
Send advertising, sales or fundraising calls to people who haven't agreed to receive them.
Use bought, rented or scraped phone lists.
Harass, threaten, frighten or deceive anyone, or pretend to be another person or organization.
Send false emergency warnings, or messages that encourage violence, hatred or illegal activity.
Call emergency numbers (such as 911) or hospital and police lines with automated messages.
Try to get around credit, call or safety limits, open several free trials, or interfere with the Service.
What happens if this policy is broken
We may pause sending, limit, suspend or close the account, depending on how serious it is. Where possible we warn you first. Credits on an account closed for serious misuse are not refunded. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
To report misuse, email ghicks@geovationdesigns.com.
